Robin Lavitch, MA, CPC, is an “A-ha Instigator” and the founder of Surpass Your Goal, a coaching practice for entrepreneurs, attorneys, and doctors. Robin is known to “Tickle Your Brain”: her keen ability to observe and read people captivates audiences and shows them how mundane everyday life events can be applied humorously to business principles. Robin is an expert in communicating with differing personality styles, interpreting body language, and detecting deception for persuasion. Her capacity to connect with audiences, elicit thought-provoking ideas and clarify personal ambitions prepares people to apply that knowledge instantaneously to accelerate their own results in leadership, sales, and time management.
Robin began learning about communication, body language and conflict resolution at age six after her parents’ divorce. A prolonged custody battle taught her to decipher the distinctions between overt and covert communication, sparking a lifelong interest in human behavior. She continued to learn informally as she accepted her first supervisory role at the age of fourteen and had her first apartment at the age of fifteen.
Robin pursued a formal education at the University of Windsor (Ontario), where she attained her Master’s Degree in Psychology, specializing in the study of resiliency and human development. She later became certified as a Professional Coach with the College of Executive Coaching and founded Surpass Your Goal in 2006.
Audiences see themselves as they relate to Robin’s special blend of support and sarcasm. Her genuine approach touches and inspires ker and Certified Coach, Robin has trained thousands of professionals. She has delivered presentations on two programs she developed — MIND The Matters and Patterns of Persuasion – to corporations, colleges/universities, professional associations, conventions, and conferences throughout the United States.
Robin travels the country, partnering with corporations, professional associations and educational institutions. Their organizational effectiveness is dramatically impacted as Robin teaches them how to adapt to various personality styles and enhance their connections with peers and prospects, as well as compel clients, colleagues and jurors with persuasive conversations. She is a proud and active member of the National Speakers Association and volunteers with the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin and the Guardian Ad Litem Program.
Robin is available for keynotes, break-out sessions, half- or full-day events, and one-on-one coaching. Whether she is watching people in the airport, taking pictures of ridiculous human acts, or predicting reality show winners, she is always seeking out ingenious ways to articulate business principles!
